How we work

Editorial Policy

The principles Score808 applies when reporting, analysing and updating football stories.

Accuracy and sourcing

We aim to verify material claims before publication, distinguish confirmed information from reports and opinion, and attribute information to its original source. Headlines should reflect the substance of the article without exaggeration.

Originality

Analysis should add independent context, tactical interpretation or reporting value. We do not present another publisher’s reporting, photography or exclusive information as our own. Third-party material must be attributed and used with appropriate permission.

Independence

Editorial coverage is not sold. Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate relationships must be visibly separated from newsroom decisions and disclosed when relevant to a story.

AI-assisted tools

Score808 may use digital and AI-assisted tools for research support, drafting and formatting. Editors remain responsible for checking facts, sources, originality, tone and the final published article.

Updates and corrections

Stories may be updated as events develop. Material factual changes should update the modification date, and significant corrections should include a clear note explaining what changed.
